Alpicool K25 Portable Car Fridge

Great fridge, really efficient too..

I "inherited" this Alpicool fridge when we bought our converted VW T5 campervan four years ago. Honestly, I’d never even heard of Alpicool and fully expected to swap it out during the next van refit.

At first glance, it was a disaster waiting to happen—sunk into a tight hole in the worktop, barely any ventilation, messy wiring, and when the rock-and-roll bed was down, any airflow it had was completely blocked.

Fast forward 4 years and 3 six-week trips to France, including a scorcher that hit 40°C. Night after night, this little fridge worked its socks off—and not once did it let us down. It’s seriously impressive.

It’s so good, in fact, that it’s going straight into our new van refit, and I’m even adding a second G22 as backup—for overflow and fewer supermarket runs.

Trust me: if you need a campervan fridge that actually works, you can’t go wrong with this one. Absolute legend.
